The Gardenrooms

Level 282, also known as the Gardenrooms (or the Garden Rooms), is a maze of buildings carpeted in flowers, devoid of any entities. Most of the level resembles an abandoned city, town, or village, while other parts resemble fields, forests & bodies of water, all covered in flowers. According to wanderer reports, the Gardenrooms is not a planet, as the Frontrooms is — it is expansive floating island level, sprawling several hundred thousand miles. The Gardenrooms is also one of, if not the only, levels to have both a daylight cycle as well as four distinct seasons that are virtually identical to that of the Frontrooms.

Faint birdsong & chirping of bugs can be heard throughout the Gardenrooms. However, no birds, bugs, or any other entities have been seen. The only life that can be found are wanderers who have no-clipped into the level. It is currently unknown where these sounds come from. Members of the Lilac Express' outposts are currently researching the source of the Gardenrooms' unusual ambience.

As there is no life to be found aside from wanderers, it is unknown how the flowers are pollinated. They cannot die- even when plucked, they will stay in full bloom. However, most of these plants are lethal if consumed, most commonly causing lungs to collapse if ingested. Non-lethal plants do not provide any nutritional benefit, so it is recommended to stay away from consuming flowers.

Bases, Outposts and Communities

The Lilac Express

• The Lilac Express is a flower-covered subway system that is home to a few hundred wanderers. They reside both inside the train, and at various subway stations — the train is still in working order.
• While the end of the train is used as storage (food, weapons, other supplies — all of which are plentiful in this level), the front of the train is used as a meeting room for any leaders of this group.
• Members of the Lilac Express tend to be friendly and open to trade, usually offering wanderers they find food and shelter.
• The Lilac Express has members dedicated to trade specifically; it is believed other settlements have found more consistent ways to travel to the Gardenrooms specifically for trade.
• Usually, the train is used at least once a day, travelling between stations to give & gather supplies, as well as information. The tracks span a vast amount of land, and the train itself goes at very high speeds — some report that it seems to teleport at times.
• The wanderers that reside with the Lilac Express are known to not wear shoes, as every inch of the Gardenrooms is coated with flowers.
